AROBID Launches Vietnam–Singapore B2B E-Commerce Platform at STIF 2025
August 15, 2025
On August 1 in Singapore, the Vietnam–Singapore Sustainable Trade and Innovation Forum (STIF 2025) officially kicked off, marking a new milestone in bilateral business connectivity with the launch of the B2B e-commerce platform Vietnamsgp.arobid.com.

The event was co-organized by the Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore, the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Business Associations (HUBA), the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), Arobid, and Ecohub, drawing nearly 100 delegates from government agencies, industry associations, and businesses.
Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Singapore Trần Phước Anh emphasized: “This platform is not just a digital tool, but a symbol of bilateral cooperation driven by innovation — realizing the goal of trade that is more transparent, faster, greener, and fairer.” He also noted that this is a concrete step toward achieving the target of raising bilateral trade turnover to USD 30 billion by 2028.

Given Singapore’s role as ASEAN’s largest logistics and re-export hub, yet its modest import volume from Vietnam (only SGD 8–9 billion annually), Vietnamese Trade Counselor in Singapore Cao Xuân Thắng noted there is significant room for growth—particularly as Vietnamese goods still face barriers such as traceability requirements, Halal certification, and weak branding. He suggested that Vietnamese businesses should be more proactive in utilizing transparent promotion channels, especially digital platforms.
Against this backdrop, the launch of Vietnamsgp.arobid.com—developed by Arobid—is seen as a significant breakthrough. The platform integrates AI, big data, 3D showrooms, and market behavior analytics, enabling businesses from both countries to showcase products, find partners, and conduct transactions online.
From the perspective of Vietnamese enterprises, Nguyễn Ngọc Hòa, Chairman of HUBA, told the forum: “This platform will help small and medium-sized enterprises gain access to the global playing field at lower costs and with higher efficiency.” He also proposed launching “digital storefronts” to represent Ho Chi Minh City and strengthening B2B matching activities between HUBA and SMF.

As part of the forum, Arobid signed a strategic partnership with High West Capital Partners to launch a financial package supporting Vietnamese businesses in exporting to the U.S. market. The company also partnered with CRIF D&B to standardize ESG certifications in line with global standards. These agreements not only expand opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to access international markets but also help enhance their competitiveness amid deepening global integration.

STIF 2025 is considered the starting point for a series of Vietnam–Singapore trade promotion activities for the 2025–2026 period, aiming to connect more than 20,000 member businesses of HUBA and SMF. With Vietnamsgp.arobid.com serving as the central digital infrastructure, this collaboration is expected to shape a green, digital, and innovation-driven trade model within the ASEAN region, contributing to the goal of raising bilateral trade turnover to USD 30 billion by 2028.
