GRECO 2025 Stands Out with a Series of Immersive Experiences in Technology and Green Living
GRECO 2025 this year brought a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere as Nguyen Hue Walking Street was transformed into an extended “green experience space” throughout the event week. Beyond showcasing advanced technology solutions, GRECO focused on creating community-oriented activities, enabling the public to experience technology first-hand, better understand green lifestyles, and witness smart urban transformation in the most direct and engaging way.
Right from the opening days, the experience zones consistently attracted large crowds of residents and tourists. AI models, robots, and various new technology applications were designed for direct interaction, allowing visitors to visualize the changes taking place in the city’s digital transformation journey. In the evenings, the pedestrian street became even more lively with technology-integrated art performances, creating a modern yet approachable atmosphere that brings technology closer to everyday life.

Alongside the immersive tech experiences, GRECO 2025 devoted special attention to community-oriented activities aimed at promoting greener living mindsets. The “Trash for Gifts” program remained a familiar yet highly appealing highlight, attracting families, students, and even international visitors. The activity was more than just an exchange of gifts—it encouraged participants to build sustainable consumption habits and practice waste sorting at source. Delegations, students, and professional groups also joined enterprise tours, giving them a closer look at real-world green development and innovation as Vietnamese businesses undergo rapid transformation.
Various AI models, robots, and digital solutions were designed for hands-on interaction. Children were particularly excited to try virtual reality technologies, observe intelligent scanning cameras, or play with robot dogs capable of standing on two legs, shaking hands, and expressing realistic emotions. Many international visitors showed strong interest in the exhibition area featuring eco-friendly vehicles that help reduce emissions and align with the global shift toward green mobility.
The creative recycling zone also left a strong impression with robot models built from scrap metal and old components— including the familiar Wall-E robot beloved by many tech enthusiasts. These products were crafted entirely from recycled materials by factory workers, carrying a clear message about the value of waste processing and circular economy practices.
In the green agriculture area, smart flower-growing models and IoT-based sensor systems with automated irrigation drew significant attention. These solutions are not only suitable for urban households but can also be applied to large-scale agricultural models, helping optimize productivity while conserving resources.
The exhibition space became even more dynamic with the presence of dozens of robots serving transportation and environmental functions, large agricultural drones, industrial robots supporting production lines, as well as autonomous navigation and guidance devices usable in hospitals, schools, or administrative offices. Visitors were also excited to explore metro scheduling devices, showcasing how technology is shaping the future urban lifestyle

One of the standout “stopover points” at GRECO 2025 was the Arobid booth, where visitors could explore digitized versions of past and ongoing exhibitions. This offered many businesses their first close-up view of how an online exhibition can operate in real-life scenarios.
In parallel, Arobid brought a more youthful, vibrant atmosphere to the exhibition area through interactive activities designed exclusively for the event. The AR experience featuring the character Arobo added a friendly touch, allowing visitors to pose with effects, preview them instantly, and take home printed photos as memorable souvenirs. These activities were not only entertaining but also helped make technology more approachable, adding freshness to the event and demonstrating how Arobid integrates technology into experiential communication formats increasingly sought by many businesses.

The chain of experiential activities at GRECO 2025 reflects Ho Chi Minh City’s efforts to build a smart city that remains deeply connected with its community. By combining technology, education, and outdoor interactive activities, the event provided a more holistic perspective on green living and sustainable thinking. As GRECO 2025 continues until November 30, the value brought by these programs is expected to further energize the city’s journey toward becoming a creative, green, and highly livable urban center in the region.
