Arobid Partners with UVBC to Build a Sustainable Vietnam–US Digital Trade Bridge

In the context of a recovering global economy and Vietnam’s market gradually regaining momentum—yet still facing fluctuations in trade, logistics, and supply chains—small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) continue to encounter challenges in expanding exports. In Vietnam, logistics costs remain high, accounting for about 16.8% of total GDP, compared to the global average of 10.7%. This disparity has significantly reduced the competitiveness of Vietnamese goods in international markets.

According to Vietnam Investment Review, only around 5,000 Vietnamese SMEs are currently participating in global supply chains—representing a mere 0.001% of total domestic enterprises. This figure highlights the substantial barriers Vietnamese SMEs face in accessing international markets, particularly the lack of reliable trade channels, credible market data, trustworthy partners, and limited logistics capacity or access to trade financing tools.

On the other hand, many US enterprises are actively seeking quality suppliers from Vietnam, especially in agriculture, food, and technology—sectors in which Vietnam holds strong advantages. However, the gap in information and trust between the two markets remains a major challenge that needs to be addressed to promote bilateral trade.

From this reality, Arobid and the US–Vietnam Business Council (UVBC) have signed a strategic partnership agreement to create a sustainable bridge between the business communities of both nations—particularly in agriculture, technology, and logistics, which are high-potential sectors prioritized for growth during economic recovery. Through the B2B e-commerce platform Nongthonviet.Arobid.com, dedicated to the agricultural industry, both parties aim to promote transparent trade while supporting Vietnamese businesses in effectively and easily accessing the US and international markets.

The partnership specifically focuses on enhancing export opportunities for SMEs, which account for over 97% of Vietnamese enterprises but face significant barriers when expanding into the US market. This cooperation promises to establish a transparent, reliable, and efficient access channel between the two markets—where businesses can showcase products and services 24/7, find suitable partners, and participate in online pitching and matching sessions to foster growth within a fully digitalized trade environment.

Combining Technology and Global Networks to Enhance Trade Promotion

Within this cooperation model, Arobid provides technology platforms and digital transformation solutions, including the B2B e-commerce platform integrated with 3D TradeXpo, a virtual exhibition system dedicated to the agricultural sector. Participating Vietnamese enterprises will be given virtual booths to showcase products, services, videos, and marketing materials, ready to connect with global partners. Notably, Arobid’s digital platforms integrate tools for real-time communication and trade management, such as online chat, video calls, and live data analytics, enabling businesses to interact efficiently, enhance customer experience, and accelerate deal closures—all within a cross-border digital exhibition space unrestricted by time or geography.

Beyond providing the platform, Arobid also offers expert support to assist enterprises in designing 3D booths, optimizing digital content, and implementing marketing and communication strategies both domestically and internationally. This helps Vietnamese businesses access global markets more easily without incurring the high costs of traditional exhibitions—gradually improving their export capacity and digital transformation in trade activities.

The US–Vietnam Business Council (UVBC) plays a key role in connecting US enterprises, organizations, and agencies interested in agriculture, technology, and investment in Vietnam, while also collaborating on trade promotion, investment programs, and business training between the two countries.

Both sides will jointly organize conferences, online seminars, and regular trade promotion events to help Vietnamese enterprises expand collaboration opportunities, enhance integration capacity, and foster transparent and sustainable trade practices.

Supporting Vietnamese Businesses on Their Global Expansion Journey

The cooperation between Arobid and UVBC goes beyond connection—it delivers practical value to Vietnamese enterprises seeking entry into the US market. Through UVBC’s extensive business network, Vietnamese companies gain direct access to US partners, significantly shortening the information and procedural gap compared to traditional promotion channels. This collaboration is particularly beneficial for SMEs, which often lack the resources for international promotion but possess high-potential products. Additionally, businesses receive support in understanding US import–export procedures, logistics systems, and quality standards, helping them mitigate risks when executing international orders.

It is evident that the partnership between Arobid and UVBC not only enhances the credibility and global readiness of Vietnamese enterprises but also introduces tangible initiatives to promote sustainable trade between the two nations. The first milestone in this effort is the AgriConnect Vietnam – US 2025 project, an initiative to strengthen trade and expand agricultural import–export between the two countries through Arobid’s B2B e-commerce platform.

Looking ahead, Arobid and UVBC aim to build a sustainable digital trade ecosystem, enabling enterprises from both nations to strengthen connections, expand markets, and grow together in the era of the global digital economy.
