What is Bao Thanh Cough Syrup?

Bao Thanh Cough Syrup is a product of Hoa Linh Pharmaceutical Company. Its main ingredients include extracts of Platycodon grandiflorum and liquid extract of a mixture of natural herbs such as: Mukdenia rossii, Apricot, Licorice, Adenophora stricta, Poria cocos, Platycodon grandiflorum, Honey,.... The product is used to relieve coughs caused by colds, chills, wind-cough, dry cough, phlegm cough, and seasonal allergic cough. It's also for people with phế âm hư (lung yin deficiency) causing persistent cough, dry mouth and throat, throat itching, burning sensation, hoarseness. It supports the treatment of pneumonia, pharyngitis, and bronchitis.

• Mukdenia rossii - 0.5g

• Adenophora stricta - 0.1g

• Poria cocos - 0.1g

• Citrus peel - 0.1g

Excipients: Benzoic acid, white sugar, Ethanol 96°, purified water to 5ml.
Dosage form: Syrup, yellow-brown liquid, cool aroma, slightly bitter sweet taste.

Effects

To clear the lungs, stop cough, and liquefy phlegm (Nourishes the lungs, relieves cough, liquefies phlegm)

Indications

– Coughs due to colds, chills, wind-cough, dry cough, phlegm cough, and seasonal allergic cough.
– People with phế âm hư (lung yin deficiency) causing persistent cough, dry mouth and throat, throat itching, burning sensation, hoarseness.
– Supports the treatment of pneumonia, pharyngitis, and bronchitis.

Dosage and administration: 3 times a day

· Children from 30 months to 3 years old: 5ml (1 teaspoon) each time
· Children over 3 years old: 10ml (2 teaspoons) each time
·People over 15 years old: 15ml (1 tablespoon) each time
*To make it easier to drink and for faster effect, dilute the syrup with warm water or swallow slowly.

Contraindications: Do not use the medicine for people who are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, children under 30 months old, children with a history of epilepsy or seizures due to high fever.

Warnings and precautions: Use with caution in pregnant women.
