Product Information

Sadolin Premium Interior PU Topcoat - Matte is a two-component system with high solids content, giving wood surfaces an elegant look. The product is specially designed to protect and enhance the beauty of various wood surfaces. With Dualshield Technology, the product protects wood surfaces for up to 10 years, and also has scratch resistance, stain resistance, and maintains the beauty of the wood surface.

Application Method

Application tools: brush, spray gun.
Use wet sandpaper to avoid dust and harmful fumes.
1. Clean the surface with sandpaper, keep it free from dust and dirt.
2. Prepare the surface by filling any imperfections with wood filler. Ensure the filler is completely dry. Sand the surface and clean to achieve a smooth, even surface.
3. Priming: Mix Sadolin Interior PU Primer with Sadolin Interior PU Hardener and Sadolin Thinner according to the recommended ratio. Use this mixture within 3 hours. Apply 2 coats of Sadolin Interior PU Primer with a minimum waiting time of 4-6 hours between coats. Sand after each coat.
4. Topcoat: Apply 2 coats of Sadolin Premium Interior PU Topcoat to the sanded surface after priming. Mix Sadolin Premium Interior PU Topcoat with Sadolin Interior PU Hardener and Sadolin Thinner according to the recommended ratio. Use this mixture within 3 hours with a minimum waiting time of 4-6 hours between coats.
5. You can apply additional primer or topcoat if necessary.

Health & Safety

Processes such as sanding and burning will create dust and/or toxic fumes. Wet sanding should be used if possible. Work in a well-ventilated area. Use appropriate protective equipment during application.
Recover as much excess paint on the brush or roller as possible before washing.

Tips & Advice

• 1. Surface Preparation

  Ideal for treating interior wood surfaces such as: doors, windows and wood paneling. Especially suitable for surfaces that are often subjected to high wear and tear, where chemical resistance is required.
  Clean the surface with sandpaper, keep it free from dust and dirt. Prepare the surface by filling any imperfections with wood filler. Ensure the filler is completely dry. Sand the surface and clean to achieve a smooth, even surface.

• 2. Cleaning

  Recover as much excess paint on the brush, spray gun before washing. Clean tools with solvent immediately after use. Avoid releasing paint into the environment. Collect spills. Do not pour paint into drains or water sources. Dispose of used paint containers according to local regulations.

• 3. Storage

  Store paint in a dry, airy place. Place the paint can upright, securely and tightly closed. Use immediately after opening.
