Ingredients

Vi Thanh fish sauce’s delicious flavor comes from carefully selected, all-natural ingredients such as anchovies (Stolephorus species), caught in season, plump, rich in protein, and fresh. Pure refined salt: Large, crystalline, clear white grains stored for 2 years to remove bitter-tasting impurities.

Production and Processing

Vi Thanh Fish Sauce, a 3-star Ocop certified brand. Vi Thanh fish sauce and other fish sauces are 100% naturally fermented in Bời Lời wooden barrels using a traditional pressing method. Vi Thanh fish sauce is a clean, naturally delicious, pure & safe traditional fish sauce! It has a clean taste and a mild aroma.

The Vi Thanh fish sauce production process is divided into 3 stages:

  • Stage 1: Selecting 100% natural ingredients. Fish is mixed with a 3:1 fish-to-salt ratio and immediately placed into barrels.

  • Stage 2: Fermentation: The fish-salt mixture is pressed and placed in Bời Lời wooden barrels inside sealed metal houses, fermenting using the traditional pressing method for 18-24 months.

  • Stage 3: Draining, filtering, inspection, and bottling
