Detailed description

Jasmine fragrant rice exudes a fragrant aroma before, during, and after cooking.

Cooking Instructions

Preparation:
1 cup of rice
1 cup of water
1 tablespoon of salt/oil/butter (optional)

Stovetop Cooking:
Rinse the rice once or twice until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
Bring 250ml (1 cup) of water to a boil in a pot with a tight-fitting lid.
Add 250ml (1 cup) of rice and stir well. Season with salt or butter/cooking oil to taste (Optional seasoning).
Cover and reduce heat to low for 15 minutes until the water is completely absorbed.
Turn off the heat and let it steam for 5 minutes. Fluff gently and enjoy.

Microwave Cooking:
Rinse the rice once or twice until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
Add 250ml (1 cup) of water to a large microwave-safe dish. Bring to a boil.
Add 250ml (1 cup) of rice and stir well. Season with salt or butter/cooking oil to taste (Optional seasoning).
Cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes, then reduce to low for another 10 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let it steam for 5 minutes. Fluff gently and serve.
Note: Microwaves have different wattages, the actual cooking time may differ from the suggestion above.
