In terms of turmeric quality, Hung Yen red turmeric is currently considered the best in Vietnam: high curcumin content, beautiful color, large, firm, pliable and fragrant tubers, high starch content, and low fiber. Turmeric grown in Chi Tan, Hung Yen has been confirmed by scientists to have a significantly higher curcumin content than turmeric grown elsewhere. The high quality of Yen Hung turmeric is partly due to the fertile alluvial soil of the Red River. The annual alluvial deposits keep the soil fresh, rich in minerals, and ideally moist, creating excellent conditions for turmeric plants to produce large, pliable, fragrant, low-fiber tubers with rich color and nutrients, and high curcumin content. Many other regions have brought the turmeric seeds from Hung Yen to their provinces for cultivation, but they do not produce the same quality of turmeric as when it is grown in Hung Yen. It only tastes delicious and fragrant when grown in its native land. The turmeric tubers used in the Sanh Turmeric Honey products are Hung Yen glutinous red turmeric, selected from mature, large, heavy and firm female turmeric tubers (also called solitary turmeric tubers), with a deep orange interior and low fiber. “The older the ginger, the spicier it is,” and “the older the turmeric, the richer it is in curcumin,” which is the type of turmeric that makes the Sanh Turmeric products.

How to use:

• It is best to drink SANH ARTISANAL TURMERIC HONEY before meals. Use 1-2 times a day, morning and evening, using 2-4 tablespoons each time, mixed with warm water (do not use boiling water as it will destroy the nutrients in the turmeric), adjust the amount of water to suit your taste.
