Positive Feedback Spurs VinFast to Export Nerio Green to Indonesia
May 7, 2025
VinFast exports its “ace card” Nerio Green to Indonesia to expand its electric vehicle lineup in response to positive customer feedback from the market.
Just one year after entering the Indonesian market, VinFast has made a notable impression and received much positive feedback from consumers. The Vietnamese automaker has been continuously expanding its product range and increasing its presence in the country. To meet growing demand, VinFast has exported nearly 2,500 electric vehicles to Indonesia — marking its largest shipment to date.

Accordingly, the shipment — including the VF 3, VF 5, VF e34, and Nerio Green — departed from Mipec Port (MPC Port) in Hai Phong en route to Indonesia. Once the vehicles arrive and complete customs clearance, they will be distributed to dealers and delivered to customers as soon as possible.
Among the exported models, Nerio Green stands out as it was just launched on the Vietnamese market and is currently available for pre-order through GSM. This model shares design and technical specifications with the VF e34, featuring overall dimensions of 4,300 x 1,768 x 1,613 mm and a wheelbase of 2,610 mm.
Nerio Green is powered by an electric motor generating 147 horsepower and 242 Nm of torque, paired with a 41.9 kWh battery that offers a range of 318.6 km under the NEDC standard. The battery can be charged from 10% to 70% in just around 27 minutes, allowing the car to operate flexibly and meet everyday travel needs.

While Nerio Green shares many similarities with the VF e34, it remains unclear whether this model will include features such as the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) package or Smart Services. Differences in equipment between the two models may depend on the product strategy for each market.
In addition to Nerio Green, VinFast is also placing high hopes on the VF 3, VF 5, and VF e34 models in this export batch. Notably, the “pint-sized SUV” — VF 3 — created a sensation at the 2025 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS 2025), becoming the most test-driven vehicle at the event and leaving a strong impression on attendees.

In addition to strengthening its EV charging network in Indonesia, VinFast is offering free charging through the V-Green network until March 1, 2028, to boost competitiveness. Recognizing Indonesia as a key market, the Vietnamese carmaker has continuously introduced incentive programs, such as cashback offers, gifts for early adopters, and a buyback commitment of up to 90% of the vehicle’s value.
At the same time, VinFast is accelerating the construction of a local assembly plant to meet market demand.
