SIKKIM - Exploring the Eastern Himalayas

DAY 01: HANOI/HCMC – KOLKATA – BAGDOGRA – DARJEELING (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) |||||
The group gathers at 00:30 (AM) at Noi Bai International Airport, completes check-in procedures at the Indigo airline counter for the flight to Kolkata. Upon arrival in Kolkata, the group completes Indian immigration procedures and moves to the domestic terminal for the domestic flight from Kolkata to Bagdogra.
Upon arrival in Bagdogra, a local car and tour guide will meet the group and take them to lunch. After lunch, the car will take the group to Darjeeling.
Darjeeling is a city in the West Bengal state of India, located on the Mahabharata range (also known as the Lesser Himalayas) at an altitude of 6,700 ft (2,042.2 m). Begin the journey to explore Sikkim.

After a 2-hour rest at the hotel, guests will begin visiting some of the famous black tea gardens. Guests can not only stroll around and sightsee but also enjoy premium teas right in the garden.
Visit Tiger Hill, 13 km from Darjeeling, where you can admire the breathtaking sunset and the Himalayas, including Mount Kangchenjunga, the highest mountain in India and the third highest in the world, and the legendary Mount Everest… You can see the horizon change color just before sunset and then the entire Himalayan range turn reddish-purple. It is truly a majestic and colorful spectacle.
