Imported Pine Wood

Pine, also known as conifer, is a softwood that grows in most areas of the Northern Hemisphere. There are over 100 species of pine worldwide. Pine can grow to heights of 25 to 40 meters depending on its location. In forests, trees grow very straight, reaching an average age of 150 to 200 years, although the tree can live up to 600 years old. Pine trees often have their lifespan reduced to 100 to 160 years. Depending on the location and the diversity of the region, the tree will grow better.

Imported Pine Wood has sapwood ranging in color from pale yellow to pale white, while the heartwood is pale yellow to reddish brown. Annual growth rings can range from 1 to 10 mm. Pine wood harvested in summer is darker than spring wood, and the growth rings are clearly visible. Depending on the cutting direction, there is a striped pattern (radial cut) or wavy pattern (cross cut).

Imported Pine Wood is of medium weight and relatively soft. It has good hardness and elasticity. Like other conifers, the properties of pine wood depend on the density of the annual growth rings: Summer wood is larger, heavier, and harder than other seasons.

Pine wood raw materials are usually in the form of: roundwood, or imported sawn pine wood and veneer.

Wood is usually sold in rough sawn and dried form, or planed.
