MS1 TRUSS FRAME

1. Introduction

The MS1 truss frame is a standard isosceles triangular frame, constructed from square or C/Z steel, designed for roofs with small and medium spans (6–12m). This model is often used for warehouses, residential metal roofs, or light steel frame houses.

2. Structure

• Main truss (Top chord – Bottom chord): 50×100×2.0mm square steel or C120×50×2.5mm.

• Diagonal bracing (Web members): 40×40×1.8mm square steel or C75×45×2.0mm.

• Roof purlins: C/Z steel 100–120 thick 1.8–2.0mm, spacing 1.0–1.2m.

• Connections: M12–M16 bolts or arc welding.

• Roofing material: color-coated steel, cold-rolled steel or PU insulated steel.

3. Reference Technical Specifications

• Roof span: 6 – 12m.

• Truss height (rise): equal to 1/5 – 1/6 of the span.

• Roof slope: 15° – 18°.

• Design load: ≥ 30–35kg/m².

• Material: Hot-dip galvanized square or C steel (ASTM A653, JIS G3302).
